In short

When you buy a BMW engine from us, you get the whole engine you see in the photos. It is not a bare short block unless the page says so.
The code on the engine matters most. Two cars can have the same badge but a different sump, flywheel, or cooler.
Will it fit my car?

Check the engine code in the VIN. Check the gearbox too. Automatic and manual cars often need a different flywheel.
Cars built for other markets can have different parts on the engine. The photo may look the same.
What we check
Look at the photos for sensors, brackets, the turbo, and the intake. We do not add missing parts after you pay.
If an engine fails our test, we do not sell it.
How to pick the right engine
Start with the code. Then the year. Then the price. A cheap engine with the wrong sump costs you more in the end.
Warranty
Many engines come with up to 12 months warranty. A proper workshop must fit the engine. The warranty is for a fault inside the engine. It does not cover the wrong engine, a dry start, the wrong oil, or damage done after you open the crate.
Shipping
Crate shipping from Hamburg costs 299 EUR. We pack the engine in a strong crate and send it to the address on your order. You need a forklift or an engine crane to unload it.
